The Better Choice in TL Brokerage

W. I. S. understands the challenge you face daily, balancing pricing and service on your shipments. That's why we offer hundreds of vigorously screened carrier resources, and multiple modes of transport, based on your delivery needs.

If you have a truckload to ship, we can quote you for door-to-door 'piggyback' (rail) service, over-the-road, or sleeper teams, depending on when your freight must deliver. Your partial and LTL shipments have the same opportunity, since we can quote with common and contract carriage, exclusive use, 'or hot shot' delivery.

If your shipments require specialized equipment for delivery-flatbeds or lift gates, for example--but your budget prohibits the cost, ask us about our multi-modal specialized delivery. We may be able to save you hundreds of dollars per shipment, compared to standard specialized transportation.

W. I. S. Logistics: The Better Choice for LTL

If your shipment is larger than small parcel but too small to move as a partial with one of our contract carriers, let our LTL department prepare a quote for you. We can classify, route and rate your shipment within minutes, and tender it to a reliable common carrier.  Our rates with these carriers are very attractive because of our volume, so you often get better pricing through W. I. S. than by going directly to the truck line. We electronically trace each shipment daily, so you can call any time and get a status on your LTL shipments in transit, or ask us to fax or e-mail a daily service report.  You can also sign up for your own internet tracing account.
